Drake's Draft Day and Days in the East Music Review

Last week Drake released two new songs: "Draft Day" and "Days in the East." In my opinion, these are two of the hottest songs to come out this year!

Drake came out flexing on this song sending many subliminal hits to Jay Z who dissed "Mrs. Drizzy" on the "We Made It" remix. The song sample's Lauryn Hill's "Doo-Wop (That Thing)." Of the many quotable lines in the song, my favorite is, "So you keep eggin' me on/ And we gonna have to crack a shell just to prove to you, you ain't hard boiled."

Drake switched up the flow on this song produced by OVO's PARTYNEXTDOOR. While in "Draft Day" he was flexing, on this song he slows it down and gives us more of the R&B soft side of Drake that many criticize him on. Drake switches up between rapping and singing about girl he still has feelings for despite past problems. The song features PARTYNEXTDOOR singing a line from Rihanna's "Stay." Could Drake be singing about Rihanna?
