Where Is "Molly"? On Sen. Chuck Schumer's Radar

"Molly" which is a street name for a popular club drug MDMA also know as ecstasy. The drug has caused three deaths from overdosing this summer in New York City during music festivals where the drug is commonly used.

Schumer is calling for new legislation that would ban the chemicals used to make "molly" and target the labs the drug is manufactured in according to syracuse.com.

"Currently dealers are getting around federal law by slightly tweaking the chemical composition of substances that are banned." Schumer said.

In 2012 26.5% of Americans had tried "molly" according to independent drug-use study by The Global Drug Survey. By 2013, the number jumped up to 60.9%.

With numbers increasing for individuals trying this drug or any drug for that matter, do you think we should start discussing a just say no to drugs campaign?
