North West To Make Photo Debut Friday

NBC's Today show couldn't get Kanye West to behave on camera in 2010, but maybe Kris Jenner can get her soon-to-be son-in-law to sit still. Entertainment Weekly reports that the notoriously testy rapper sat down for a TV interview on Jenner's talk show, Kris. Here's proof.

This should be a good one: In the interview, he reacts to President Obama's statement last month about celebrities skewing the American Dream. "There was not that window into the lifestyles of the rich and famous," Obama says. "Kids weren't monitoring every day what Kim Kardashian was wearing, or where Kanye West was going on vacation, and thinking that somehow that was the mark of success."

The last time West sat down for an interview, Matt Lauer threw a couple of hardball questions at him, addressing his statement that "George Bush doesn't care about black people" and also showing a clip of him interrupting Taylor Swift's 2009 VMA acceptance speech. That did not go over well.

In this interview, which airs on Friday, she grills him on life as Kim's husband, as the father of her granddaughter, North, and the pressures of living in the spotlight.

Think she'll throw him any hardball questions? Example: Cloth or disposable diapers?

Or just lob a few easy questions over, like, "it's hard to be a celebrity, isn't it?'"

The first look is coming on the final day. TMZ is reporting that West flashed a photo of baby North during Kris' last taping, but that the shot will linger longer when the show actually airs Friday. The, um, sweet sendoff (read: ratings gimmick) makes sense considering Jenner will be angling for her show to go out with a baby-boosted bang, in hopes that Fox will extend it.
