San Francisco - Federal investigators say two of the pilots in the cockpit during the plane crash in San Francisco relied heavily on auto-pilot.
They also say the pilots had limited experience.
The National Transportation Safety Board says the lead pilot was serving as a flight instructor for the first time -- while overseeing another pilot new to flying Boeing 777's.
Their investigation also revealed that two of the flight attendants were ejected from the back of the plane and survived. They were discovered on the runway.
When it was all over, two passengers had died, and 182 others were injured.
