Former Sutherland Global Services Employees Plead Guilty
by News

Rochester, N.Y. Two former Sutherland Global Services Employees pleaded guilty Tuesday to mail fraud.

U.S. Attorney William Hochul announced that Brian Wergin, 31, and Bohdan Don Luzecky, 45 both of Rochester pleaded guilty to the charge.

Wergin and Luzecky placed false orders for free copies of replacement Intuit software, including Turbo Tax and Quicken, while employed by Sutherland Global Services.

After receiving the software, they sold it on eBay.com to customers across the country and kept the proceeds for themselves.

Sentencing is scheduled for October 2 at 3:00 pm before U.S. District Judge Frank Geraci.
