Rochester police and the Monroe County Medical Examiner's Office are trying to find the identity and cause of death for a man found on the Brown Street and Jefferson Avenue rail overpass.
Police responded to the scene after a 911 call just before 5 p.m. for the report of a body found.
RPD Capt. Ray Dearcop said the initial investigation shows no sign of trauma, and the death does not appear to be suspicious at this time.
The man's name, age, race, and approximate time of death have not been determined.
However, there was a small encampment of blankets near the body and the man may have been homeless, Dearcop said.
