Tuesday's premiere of Tyler Perry's "The Haves and The Have Nots" drew 1.77 million viewers, making it the highest rated series debut in OWN history, according to the network.
OWN premiered two back-to-back episodes of "The Haves and The Have Nots," attracting 1.77 million total viewers for the premiere episode at 9 p.m., and building to over 1.8 million viewers for the second episode at 10 p.m., according to Nielsen.
The premiere episode built every quarter hour, growing 20 percent over the course of the 9 p.m. hour. The second episode at 10 p.m. also built or held each quarter.
