Two men are charged following a nighttime home invasion in Perinton that ended with a man barricading himself inside a Rochester home.
Michael Corvelli, 24, and Roy Calentinez, 34, are charged with burglary, robbery, criminal use of a firearm, and grand larceny.
Police said before 11 p.m. Thursday, three men entered a man's apartment in Perinton, ransacking the apartment and stealing items including two rifles. The man inside was found tied up by deputies.
Police said Corvelli was taken into custody Friday morning, but Calentinez holed up in a house on Lake View Park, near Dewey Avenue, in Rochester. He was taken into custody after three hours. Calentinez is also charged with criminal possession of a firearm.
Police said one man involved in the home invasion is still at large.
Corvelli was arraigned in Perinton, while Calentinez is hospitalized and has not yet been formally charged.
Corvelli was taken to the Monroe County Jail. Bail was set at $50,000 cash or $100,000 bond.
