Its Spring time! So you know what that means? Spring Cleaning: Out with old and in with the new!
While you're cleaning your home during this season, be sure to spring clean your health and life as well.
Start with something simple - organize. Clearing out the clutter can help you feel less anxious and more in control. Whether it's a closet overflowing with clothes or the kitchen counter, try aiming your sights on it until the project is complete.
A quick tip for clothes, if you haven't worn it in a year make it disappear - donate it.
Next, give your health a spring makeover! During the holidays and winter months we tend to eat heavier foods, deserts, and beverages.
A good way to cleanse your health this spring is by eating fresh fruits and vegetables. You can find them locally. One of my favorite places for produce is the Rochester Public Market. You can't get any fresher than that!
The best thing about buying locally grown produce is that they are fresher, suffer less damage in transit, and are better tasting. Some of spring's harvest includes; strawberries, asparagus, carrots, garlic, peas, lemons, apricots, and beets. These are a few you can incorporate into your diet that provide great benefits for your body's health.
