Wellness Recipe: Fried Parmesan Tilapia

Fried Parmesan Tilapia


2 Tilapia Fillets
1 Cup Parmesan Cheese
1 Egg
1 tsp. Minced Garlic
1 1/2 tbsp. Italian Seasoning
Low Sodium Season Salt
Half a Lemon
3 tbsp. Olive Oil

How to prepare:

First place the 2 thawed tilapia fillets on a plate squeeze lemon juice from lemon on both fillets. LIGHTLY season the tilapia with pepper, low sodium season salt, and adobo. Let seasoned tilapia sit while you prepare the rest of the ingredients (you can put them in the refrigerator).

Mix 1 cup parmesan cheese with 1 1/2 tbsp. italian seasoning in a shallow bowl. In another dish add the egg and 1 tsp. of minced garlic. Beat the egg & garlic together.

Dip the tilapia fillets in the egg & garlic mixture cover both sides. Then place tilapia in the parmesan & italian seasoning mix making sure tilapia fillets are fully coated on BOTH SIDES.

Add 3 tbsp. of olive oil to a skillet, and heat on medium-medium high heat. Place both tilapia fillets in pan. Fry for four to five minutes on each side until golden brown fish flakes easily when done.

I like to make this with white rice and pan seared asparagus for the side dish. Mmm mmm mmm delicious enjoy!
