Jerry Buss, the Los Angeles Lakers' owner who directed the NBA team to 10 championships from the Showtime dynasty of the 1980s to the Shaq & Kobe Bryant era, died Monday. He was 80. He will always be remembered as the greatest owner of his eras.

Major League Baseball opened their Spring Training facilities this week and all the familiar faces made their way to their old places and for some, new homes. The Toronto Blue Jays open up their season with new faces such as Jose Reyes, Mark Burhlie and Melky Cabrera. Derek Jeter is making Opening Day a goal to debut this season after fracturing his ankle in Game 1 of the ALCS last postseason.

We are the All-Star break in the National Basketball Association. The weekend was filled with memorable and exciting moments. Second year player Kyrie Irving dominated the weekend with moments such as making Brandon Knight fall in the Rising Stars game, winning the 3pt competition and fitting right in draining threes with the all-stars in the game on Sunday night.

Michael Jordan turned 50 years old Sunday night and stole all the shine with comments he made in an interview with NBATV. MJ stated that he would choose Kobe Bryant over LeBron James any day because five championships will always beat one. This comes after a week of where LeBron James won Player of the Month for the fourth consecutive month and dominated with seven straight games with 30 points, creating a comparison with Michael Jordan.
