Akon Sued Over Website
R&B star Akon has been hit with a lawsuit over allegations he failed to pay for an Internet video project.
The Smack That hitmaker allegedly hired experts at Atlanta Business Video in 2011 to help him create footage for Fantrace, a Facebook-style forum he helped set up to allow fans to interact with celebrities.
However, the site floundered and executives at the company allege they were not paid for their work.
Bosses at the firm have now filed a lawsuit in Georgia, claiming they are owed $127,875 for 1,023 hours of work, according to TMZ.com.
