Chris Brown is reaching out to Adele to say thank you for setting the record straight amid rumors the two were involved in a fight at the Grammy Awards.
The duo was photographed in the middle of what seemed to be a heated discussion at the event, with gossips speculating Adele had berated the Kiss Kiss singer for failing to stand up and applaud when Frank Ocean collected the Best Urban Contemporary Album award for Channel Orange.
Adele quickly shot down the reports, tweeting, "Chris Brown and I were complimenting each other in that photo actually!"
Now the embattled R&B star has thanked the Rolling in the Deep hitmaker for clearing up the situation, taking to his own Twitter account to write, "Pleasure to meet u OfficialAdele I heard your words and thats (sic) all that matters. Thank u for speaking (the) truth."
Brown and Ocean were involved in a car park scuffle in Los Angeles last month.
