Getting started with a workout routine sometimes can be a daunting task when you have no idea where to start, or what exercises to do. Not only that you don't have the time between your work schedule, life-in-general, or you simply dislike the gym atmosphere. Whatever your reason there may be a simple solution.
Work out at home. Here are a few simple workout routines that can help you burn calories and get fit in the convenience of your own home. By doing these exercises at least 3 times a week along with a healthy diet you can begin to shed those unwanted pounds away.
15 Jumping jacks, 15 lunges, and 15 push-ups. Rest for 1 minute then repeat 3 times.
20 squats, 20 walking lunges, 20 jump squats, 50 jump-rope (substitute with jumping jacks), 20 crunches. Rest for 30-60 seconds, repeat 3 times.
Jumping jacks 30 seconds, then hold a 30 second plank (or 20 crunches). Rest for 15-35 seconds repeat 3-5 times.
10 squats, 10 push-ups, 10 lunges, 10 mountain climbers, 10 basic leg lifts. Repeat for 30-45min.
You can modify any of the exercises you need, this is just a basic guideline to get you started. If you can't do the amount listed do what you can and stick with it, think positive you will get there! Always check with a physician before you attempt any workout plan.
