Super Bowl XLVII
Baltimore Ravens - 34
San Francisco 49ers - 31

'When God is for you, nobody can go against you,' celebration quote by future Hall of Famer Ray Lewis. Lewis played his final game of his illustrious career and went out as Super Bowl champion. Baltimore withstood the late surge by the 49ers and won their second Super Bowl title in franchise history. The game started as a blowout, turned into a blackout then eventually becoming a shoot out.

Baltimore dominated the first half of football and then ran the kickoff return to start the 3rd quarter. All momentum was on their side until a power outage at the Super Dome delayed the game for 34 minutes. Once play restarted, San Francisco had all momentum and made it a close game again.

It came down to Ray Lewis and his dominant defense to stop the Niners from scoring a final touchdown that would put them ahead and the task was accomplished. After a 4th and Goal incomplete pass with a lot of contact from the Ravens, the Baltimore Ravens were crowned Super Bowl XLVII champions and Joe Flacco placed himself in the elite category.
