City Council President Lovely Warren to Host American Red Cross Blood Drive
Donate Blood in Honor of Sickle Cell Awareness Month
When: Saturday, September 29, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Where: David Gantt Community Center at 700 North Street in Rochester.
If you donated blood earlier in the summer, you may be eligible now to donate again. For more information, or to make an appointment for this blood drive, call (585) 428-6684, or send an email to millertr@cityofrochester.gov.
Individuals who are 17 years of age (16 with parental permission in New York State), meet weight and height requirements (110 pounds or more, depending on their height) and are in generally good health may be eligible to give blood.
Please bring your Red Cross blood donor card or other form of positive ID when you come to donate.
