LA Honors Bob Marley
Los Angeles officials have proclaimed Tuesday Bob Marley Day in memory of the late reggae legend.
Two of the No Woman, No Cry star's children, Ziggy and Karen, were on hand to accept the honor from members of the City Council on Tuesday, and they took part in a sing-a-long of Marley's classic Redemption Song.
The ceremony, which coincides with the DVD release of the Marley documentary, comes 31 years after the musician died from cancer, at the age of 36.
