Oprah Wants To Interview Tiger
by Dean

The gossip site PopEater is reporting that "Oprah Winfrey has called Tiger Woods herself to offer him advice, comfort ... and the opportunity to tell his side of the ever-developing Tiger-gate drama on her couch."

"Matt Lauer, Barbara Walters and Larry King's people have all called, but only lady O has personally reached out," the source said.

Based on the latest developments, there will be much for Tiger to explain. The latest drama comes from his so-called mistresses: one who was reportedly ready to admit that she lied about denying any relationship with the golfer, and a new woman who has surfaced claiming she, too, was dating the athlete.

Last week, the National Enquirer reported that Tiger had been seeing New York nightclub hostess Rachel Uchitel, and that they recently were together in Melbourne, where Woods competed in the Australian Masters.

Uchitel spent about a week denying the story, but after a second woman, Jaimee Grubbs, came forward this week with text messages and a voicemail proving that she, too, was Tiger's mistress, Uchitel and her attorney announced they would hold a press conference Thursday - reportedly to state that Uchitel was indeed seeing Tiger -- and was lying when she denied having an affair.

However, the press conference was mysteriously canceled "due to unforeseen circumstances," according to a statement released Thursday by Uchitel's attorney Gloria Allred. The statement didn't elaborate on the "circumstances."

According to TMZ.com, "it was Uchitel -- not Jaimee Grubbs -- who caused an argument between Tiger and his wife, Elin Nordegren, that immediately preceded Tiger's SUV crash.

"Sources say less than an hour before Tiger's accident, Rachel and Tiger were texting each other. Elin confronted Tiger and asked whom he was texting. She grabbed the phone and we're told she called Rachel to confront her. According to sources, Tiger and Elin began arguing and the phone broke in the process.

"We're also told there was damage as a result of the altercation in the vestibule area of Tiger's home -- damage that cannot be easily repaired, and that is why Tiger would not let police come in."

Meanwhile, rumors of a third Tiger Woods mistress surfaced Thursday as Life and Style magazine reported that "Kalika Moquin, a marketing manager for The Bank nightclub in Las Vegas, hooked up with Tiger more than once at his Las Vegas hotel during the weekend of Oct. 23."

When contacted by the magazine, Kalika neither confirmed nor denied an affair with Tiger. "It's not appropriate for me to comment one way or the other," she said. "At this time, I'm just choosing to focus on my job."
