Toni Braxton Sued
Lloyds of London has filed a countersuit against Toni Braxton, who filed a claim against the company for refusing to pay her under the concert cancellation insurance policy she took out.
According to TMZ.com, the singer was supposed to get a check from Lloyds after canceling a show in 2006 due to heart problems. She sued Lloyd's for the money, but the company says they dropped Braxton because she failed to disclose her full medical history on the insurance application.
Braxton suffered from pericarditis, a heart ailment that forced her to end a run of shows she had booked in Las Vegas.
Lloyd's not only refuses to pay her, but has countersued claiming Braxton owes them damages.
