Maxwell Continues His Great Year

Maxwell has earned another week atop Billboard's R&B/Hip Hop songs tally.

Earning the coveted top spot with the single "Pretty Wings," Maxwell beat out Mario's advancing hit "Break Up" feat. Sean Garrett and Gucci Maine (no.2).

While Maxwell's third chart topping week is a great accomplishment, the singer can also smile thanks to the ALMA Awards.

Slated to air September 18 on ABC, this year's ALMA Awards will celebrate achievement in film, television, sports and music, where Maxwell is nominated for 'special achievement'.

Maxwell joins fellow ALMA nominees Kat DeLuna, Christina Aguilera and Enrique Iglesias.
