Hip Hop Stars Take Over Jay Leno Show
Jay-Z, Rihanna and Kanye West will share the stage on the season premiere of "The Jay Leno Show" on Monday, Sept. 14, NBC announced Thursday.
The trio will perform their single "Run This Town," a song from Jay-Z's highly anticipated new album "The Blueprint 3," set for release on Sept. 11.
The show, which marks Leno's switch from latenight into primetime; will air at 10 p.m. EST five nights a week.
Prince ushered out the "Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on May 28, and Pearl Jam was the first band to play under Conan O'Brien's tenure as host, which started June 1.
