Obama Says Cops Acted Stupidly
President Obama Wednesday night strongly defended old pal Henry Louis Gates in his dustup with the Cambridge, Mass., police - an incident that renewed the highly charged debate on racial profiling.
"The Cambridge police acted stupidly in arresting somebody when there was already proof that they were in their own home," Obama said.
