I have the dubious task of letting the public know about the concert scheduled for this Saturday June 20th has been postponed till, (now here is the fun part) sometime on the 3rd week of August, hope for the 22nd cause that is a Satuday. This has lead to numerous callers to blame the artist for not coming which I have to move from the Sergeant Schultz (Hogan's Heroes) position of "I know nothing" to speak up for Blitz (road manager) and Busta who had no idea of the show being postponed, cancelled, stick a fork in it (whatever you wanna call it) , they are good to roll.
The next wave of callers saying it is Rochester's fault because they don't buy tickets in advance has some validity to it but not for this case. the momentum for a successful show to happen was in place.
There is also a rumor that the Armory has lost their entertainment license is speculation that I can not confirm nor deny. The interesting point is no other show is affected at this time and conversations with representatives from the venue indicated that license is still in tact (who the &^%* knows)
Now for the money issue, people who are holding tickets I am told they will be honored in the future show that has not been scheduled yet. Busta's schedule has to mesh with the venue availability. The promoter is not at fault and should not be made out to be the bad guy for holding people's monies on something completely outta their hands. Wow this sucks, so don't lose that ticket.
This is a first that neither the artist or the promoter or venue is to blame but makes you wonder if this is a Gucci Mane affect... so back to where is my money as Sergeant Schultz would say "I know nothing" call the Armory
