Lloyd leaves The Inc. Records
Lloyd has announced that he is leaving The Inc. Records after five years of calling it home. The singer has said that his time with Irv Gotti's imprint has "run its course" and he needs to move on. Lloyd says that his career has been stagnant since The Inc's departure from Universal Records. Lloyd insists that the separation is cordial telling Allhiphop.com, "There's no bad blood. I just feel I need to take more control over my career and get a fresh start. Hopefully Irv can understand my position." Ashanti recently left the label as well. Lloyd is working on a mixtape to keep fans anticipating his fourth studio album.
