It's been revealed that a tape of Beyonce singing off-key was actually a hoax. A clip from "The Today Show," was leaked online last week featuring Beyonce singing with a screeching voice, sending the media into a frenzy. 26 year old art student, Matthew Zeghibe, says that he created the video to show people how easily someone's voice can be manipulated. Howard Stern first played the clip on-air but didn't mention that it was taken from the web and it got out to various media outlets. Matthew Knowles lashed out once he got wind of the purported tape, but Beyonce rolled with the punches saying, the timing of the video was perfect, "because I'll be on the Today show tomorrow singing 'Halo,' [and] tonight, you can watch me sing live on David Letterman! It's perfect promotion, whoever came up with that idea." Meanwhile, Beyonce is heading out on her US tour "I Am" and offering fans affordable tickets.
