Tyler Perry Wants Madea To Die
Tyler Perry wants Madea dead.
That may come as a surprise, given that the big-hearted - but foul-tempered - pistol-packin' granny topped the U.S. box office last weekend with $41 million in tickets for "Tyler Perry's Madea Goes to Jail."
"I would love to see Madea die a slow death in the next film," he said.
The reason? It takes a lot of effort to turn the 6-foot-5 Perry into big mama Madea.
She's "a whole lot of fun to watch. But to do it is a nightmare," Perry says. Still, the actor said, as long as fans want her, she'll be around.
