Lil Wayne will join many others in the campaign called Celebrate The Music That Makes Us that is geared towards highlighting songs that influence and inspire artists whose music has made a lasting impact on other music lovers.
Other artists include Rihanna, Stevie Wonder, Lenny Kravitz, and Radiohead, and they were all asked to pick 10-20 songs that influenced or affected their life and careers to the Recording Academy.
All artists will have a print ad showing the songs they picked, Lil Wayne shows his appreciation to Jay-Z by acknowledging his song "Can't Knock The Hustle" as well as Young Buck's "Pocket Full of Paper." Rihanna shows off her list that included Destiny's Child's "Say My Name."
Lil Wayne may not be the only rapper on the list as they are working on getting Kanye West.
The Grammys will air live at 8pm on CBS on February 8th.
