Actress Channeled Faith
Antonique Smith stars as Faith Evans in the upcoming biopic Notorious, about the life of the Notorious B.I.G. She says for the audition she did everything from searching the Internet for YouTube videos of the singer, and wife of B.I.G, to trying to emulate her style by wearing a frumpy sweat suit because she says she [Faith] was "real chill going into the studio."
She also went on to say she wore her hair in a bun and made her face what she called "extra pale" She revealed, while doing press for the film, that when she walked into the audition Ms. Wallace said "That's Faith."
Notorious hits theaters January 16th.
