TMZ is reporting that rap group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony is being sued for 280-thousand dollars for reportedly skipping out on a pre-booked performance in Washington last year.
Jazz Tacoma basketball team is suing the Grammy winning group for breach of contract after the money had been paid for an April 2007 performance. The lawsuit reads that "[they] neither cancelled the engagement or returned any monies paid under the contract. The plaintiff has since that time done everything in its power to settle this matter without any good faith response by the defendants."
In addition to the 280-thousand dollars in compensatory damages being requested, the team is also asking for attorney fees, declaratory and injunctive relief along with other compensation deemed by the court.
Bone Thugs-N-Harmony has yet to publicly respond - no trial date has announced.
In other Bone news, all members of the group reunited on stage during an performance in LA earlier this month and are planning to release a reunion album called Uni 5 due out June 30th 2009.
