Spike Lee Fires His Agent
Spike Lee has ended his 15-year relationship with the William Morris Agency in the wake of disappointing box office receipts for his latest film "Miracle at St. Anna."
According to the trades, the filmmaker has signed with Endeavor for representation. The move comes three weeks after his WWII film opened to just $3.5 million, and has grossed just $7.5 million to date.
Before "Anna," Lee directed the largest-grossing film of his career, the heist thriller "Inside Man," which drew $176 million worldwide in 2006.
A sequel is one of several upcoming projects set up by William Morris.
