Montell Jordan Is Back

Hit making R&B singer/songwriter Montell Jordan is making a comeback with his new CD entitled "Let It Rain," while also sharing his life with fans via a new reality series entitled "Montellevision."

Returning to the R&B block after spending quality time with his family, Montell heats it up with sizzling singles like "Not No More," the title track "Let It Rain," plus a surprise for hip-hop fans: a collaboration with Doug E. Fresh.

"In 1996, I had an opportunity to work with Slick Rick, a legend of hip-hop. 12 years later, things come full circle and I was able to connect with Doug E. Fresh and work with him on "Left Alone."

"As an R&B artist who has always been embraced by the hip-hop community, working with icons like Ricky & Doug, Master P, LL Cool J, Bone Thugs & Harmony and Redman is a testimony to my love for hip-hop and my dedication to R&B music."

Due in stores Tuesday, Oct. 21, "Let It Rain," a culmination of real-life experiences including drama, pain and joy is already getting excellent reviews.

In related news, Montell Jordan is sharing his journey with fans via "Montellevision," a web based reality series that follows Jordan and his family through the course of life offstage.

Webisodes of "Montellevision" are featured on Montell's YouTube channel, but Montell also broadcasts once a week on BlogTV.com, chatting it up live with hundreds of fans and sharing insight on the music industry, politics and life in general.

"Broadcasting the show live online is a real advantage. I love the real-time interaction with fans all over the world at the same time and the feedback is priceless. It's like a big house party."

"Montellevision" broadcasts live Fridays @ 9pm EST on
blogtv.com/people/montelljordan.

In addition to the album release and reality show, Montell is finishing up his auto-biography, an e-book entitled "Reflections" that will follow the album drop. "Reflections" is just that - a reflection of the artist on his life from birth and follows Montell throughout the ups and down of the music industry and the ups and down of marriage and raising a family.

Montell Jordan's new album "Let It Rain" is due in stores Oct. 21.
