A lawyer for Busta Rhymes filed a complaint against the group of 15 or so airport officers in London who arrested him last month over his immigration status, reports Allhiphop.com.
Attorney Philip Trott, who also represents Sean "Diddy" Combs, 50 Cent and Snoop Dogg, was with Busta during the Sept. 25 incident at London City Airport and claims they were first met on the runway by five officers with machine guns after his flight arrived from Amsterdam.
Trott said ten more officers approached them inside the terminal using unnecessary force to take him in. Trott said he advised Busta to comply or risk being "arrested at gunpoint for obstructing a police officer."
As previously reported, Justice Julian Flaux allowed Busta to make his scheduled Orange RockCorps charity concert, despite immigration officers who raised questions regarding his "unresolved convictions" in the U.S. as reason to denying him entry.
Justice Flaux said it was "difficult to see upon what basis" Rhymes was detained and cleared the way for his visit.
