Today, Fidelis Care is one of the largest health plans offering government-sponsored programs in New York State, serving approximately 420,000 members in 39 counties. Following an October 2005 acquisition, CenterCare, a health plan that offered Child Health Plus, Family Health Plus, and Medicaid Managed Care in the five boroughs of New York City, was completely merged into Fidelis Care on August 1, 2008.
