Rapper T.I. is continuing his efforts to bring peace to the community, while fulfilling his court ordered community service. The rapper held a back-to-school event in his hometown of Bankhead Atlanta on Sunday. More than 1,000 kids were present at the annual event where they were given free school supplies and spent time with T.I. The rapper took the time to send a message of the importance of school, and expressed his regret for the actions that got him into trouble.
T.I. has seven more months of community service to perform before he starts serving one year for federal weapons charges. He is slated to begin serving his sentence in March after completing 1,500 hours of community service.
Meanwhile, T.I. will be releasing his new album, Paper Trail, hitting stores on September 30th.
