1-3:15p Time Trial - Port of Rochester, Charlotte
The Rochester Time Trial is a very flat 4 mile out-and-back course that starts and ends at the Port of Rochester.
Saturday, Aug. 9th Rochester Twilight Criterium
Amateur Fields: 3:45 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Main Event: 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
The Rochester Twilight Criterium takes place right in the middle of Rochester's downtown. The short closed-loop course allows spectators plenty of access to the racing.
Where to Watch
Criteriums are renouned for being spectator friendly events, and this is especially true for the Rochester Twilight Criterium! The course is a one mile long loop, so it's easy to walk around the entire course and pick your favorite vantage points.
And there are plenty of thrilling vantage points on this course! Every turn in the course offers a unique view of the action as the riders maneuver their bikes through tricky corners while going as fast as humanly possible.
11:30 a.m to 4 p.m. - Road Race
Where to Watch
The Rochester Road Race covers a lot of ground, and it's impossible to know in advance where the decisive attack that shapes the outcome of the race will occur. It might happen in the climbs of Dansville and Nunda, or the field might stay together until the finishing circuit where the contenders and their teams will be trying to position themselves for a thrilling sprint at the finish line.
