Dolphins Ricky Williams Coming Back

Miami Dolphins running back, Ricky Williams hasn't played a full NFL season in four years. It started at the beginning of the 2004 season when Williams announced he was retiring. But when the Dolphins said, "Fine, give us our money back," Williams tried to come back in 2005 but was suspended for four games for smoking weed. He would actually get a full season suspension in 2006 because he couldn't put down the ganja. He was reinstated last year, but only carried the ball six times before he got hurt. Now Williams is looking to return to form this year.

"Number one, it's a good salary. There's not many jobs where you make this kind of money," Williams told the Miami Herald when asked why he continues to play football at age 31. "Plus, the way I left made it difficult. To come back and clear my name was important to me."

It looks like Williams may get the opportunity this season. He's fully healthy and the Dolphins starting running back, Ronnie Brown, hasn't fully recovered from his recent knee surgery. Could we see a 1,000 yard season from Williams?
