Jay-Z Wants To Work With Kanye
Speaking to Rolling Stone magazine, Jay-Z said he may consider tracks from Kanye West for his upcoming CD, which goes against his earlier statements that the project would be produced solely by Timbaland.
"I'm a person that works off music," Jay-Z explained. "If Timbaland makes 10 great tracks then he produces the album, if Kanye West makes 10 great tracks then he produces the album; if he makes three, I'll take three. I let the music dictate the direction.
"You know I love Timbaland, he is like a brother to me, but until the music is done it's premature."
The as-yet-untitled album is a follow-up to 2007's "American Gangster," a companion album to the film starring Denzel Washington.
