Wow - Mariah Has Real Issues
In the latest issue of Elle magazine, Mariah Carey says her life was at such a poor state that she once had dreams of being abducted.
"When I was in an unhappy place in my life, I always wanted to be kidnapped," she says in the magazine's August issue. "I just wanted a way out, but I didn't have one."
That is, until she met Nick Cannon.
"He sort of kidnapped me and took me on a helicopter ride. Then he re-proposed," she says, referring to his initial proposal a few days earlier that she let slide by.
"We really kept the whole relationship aspect of it quiet," she says. "I think we didn't want to give people a chance to be like, 'What are you doing? What are you talking about? This is so quick...are you sure?'"
