Naomi Campbell has settled a case with her former housekeeper after the woman accused the supermodel of various offenses, including racial discrimination and abusive behavior.
British newspaper Sunday Mirror reports that Ivana Lovas took Campbell to an employment tribunal amid accusations the catwalk queen made her life a "living hell" in the four months she was working for her.
Lovas said Campbell abused her when she threatened to quit and criticized her language skills. The London-based housekeeper left the job in October and filed suit against Campbell citing unfair dismissal and breach of contract, as well as racial and sexual discrimination.
A preliminary court hearing also heard that there were "two occasions of aggressive, abusive and criminal behavior" on the part of Campbell.
According to the Mirror, the case has been settled out of court with Campbell reportedly paying her former employee thousands of dollars. A rep for Campbell has confirmed the case will be going no further, telling the Mirror, "I can confirm the matter has been resolved."
