Statements made during the nearly month long R. Kelly child pornography trial:
"People's Exhibit No. 1." - The prosecution formally entering their first piece of evidence: the VHS sex tape.
"You will see the sex acts he commands her to do. Acts you have never seen before." - Prosecutor Shauna Boliker in her opening statements, just before the prosecution played the 27-minute tape in open court.
"You know what they have to connect Mr. Kelly to this tape? Nothing." - Defense attorney Sam Adam Jr. in his opening statement.
"Either Robert isn't the man on that tape or he's a magician - because there's no mole." - Sam Adam Jr. introducing the idea that while the man in the tape does not appear to have a mole on his back, Kelly does.
"There is a mark on the man's back in the exact same position." - Prosecution witness Grant Fredericks displaying freeze-frames of the tape and saying the man in the video has what appears to be a mole at the same spot as Kelly's.
"He carried it everywhere with him. Wherever he was at, the bag would follow him." - Prosecution witness Lisa Van Allen, who said Kelly used to carry a duffel bag full of sex tapes he made.
"Sweetie, I'm not trying to get money out of this." - Prosecution witness Stephanie "Sparkle" Edwards responding to defense attorney Ed Genson's accusation that she was trying to extort Kelly.
"I'm not your sweetie!" - A visibly angry Genson's retort.
"You know your blood ... you just know your family." - Edwards saying she immediately recognized the alleged victim, who is her relative, on the sex tape.
"It definitely wasn't her." - Defense witness Shonna Edwards, also a relative of the alleged victim.
