While Kristi Yamaguchi was kicking butt on the ballroom floor at the Dancing with the Stars finale on Tuesday night, Laila Ali was taking a beating in the audience. The six-months pregnant season four Dancing alum tells PEOPLE that her unborn son "was kicking me like crazy" during the show.
That's right, Ali and her husband, former NFL star Curtis Conway, are expecting a boy this September.
"We're going to name him Curtis Muhammad. This boy is going to be an athlete, definitely," a glowing Ali said. "I'm so blessed to be having such a smooth pregnancy. No cravings, no sickness. I don't feel pregnant other than I'm getting bigger."
Ali, who's co-hosting her second season of NBC's American Gladiators, says she'll continue working after her son is born, thanks to her husband.
"Curtis has been helping me out a lot when I've been working. He's retired so he's picked up a lot of the slack at home. He's going to be excellent when the baby comes," Ali said. "I'll go to the show and he can watch the baby in the trailer while I work. I can check in with them in between shooting. It will be good."
