R&B singer Lloyd is plotting his return to the spotlight this summer with plans to release his third solo album, Lesson In Love.
According to Billboard, Lloyd will follow up last year's release Street Love with his upcoming disc this July. The album has already spawned its first single, "How We Do It," which features Ludacris and is produced by Baby Boy and Superkidd.
Among the other producers on the project are Tricky Stewart, The-Dream, Polow Da Don, J-Lack, Jasper and Big Reese and Eric Hudson. Nelly and "You" collaborator Lil' Wayne will also make a guest appearances.
The Atlanta singer is thinking about teaming up with Weezy for an entire album similar to Jay-Z and R. Kelly's Best Of Both World project.
So I come out the booth, Weezy go in and do about 38 bars," Lloyd told Rhapsody of his studio experience with Wayne. "The beat cuts off and he's still rapping. He's just killing it and I'm saying to myself, 'Oh this dude is incredible. I gotta work with this dude for real.' And from there, we started our relationship. We've even talked about doing an album together and calling it Best of Young Worlds."
Lesson in Love is due in stores July 15th via The Inc/Motown Records.
