Platinum selling rapper Bow Wow continues to spread his wings as an actor having recently signed on to star in the new independent film Driving Lessons.
According to the Hollywood Reporter Bow Wow will star alongside Evan Ross (ATL), Chi McBride (Roll Bounce), and Jermaine Williams (Great Debaters) in the film.
A comedy, Driving Lessons largely centers on the character Bunnie (played by Hope Davis) whose sudden memory loss gives her an opportunity to make things work with her husband and ultra religious, right wing son after having an affair with her neighbor (McBride).
Bow Wow and Jermaine Williams have been cast as wannabe thugs who bring havoc to the rest of the character's lives, while Selma Blair (Hellboy) is set to take a turn as a sardonic lesbian high school teacher embroiled in an affair with one of her students.
Driving Lessons is expected to begin production next month in Los Angeles and is slated for release in 2009.
