Today (January 24), members of several law enforcement agencies will meet the body of a Rochester native and Atlanta police officer who was gunned down least week.
Twenty-six year old Ricky Bryant, Jr. was off-duty working as a security guard at an apartment complex in Decatur when someone shot and killed him and another off-duty officer working with him.
Bryant's plane is scheduled to land at Rochester International Airport at 4:55. Officers will lead a motorcade from there to his funeral home.
The route goes from East Brooks Avenue to North Woodbine Avenue to West Chili to North Gardner. From there, it heads to West Avenue to West Buffalo Road, finally ending on Elmgrove Road. Anyone who would like to show support and lives along the route is asked to hang an American Flag on their home.
