Mr. Easy is gearing up for 2008! With a new photo shoot recently done with Greg Grindley while visiting New York, Mr Easy is gearing up for a fresh new look and the outcome of his recording efforts with new songs done with producers like; John John, Mario Lawrence, Sean Nizzle and Stephen McGregor and more.
"Sweet Jamaica", produced by Sean Nizzle is a melodic slow paced, touching and really inspirational song has the potential to be the next 'anthem' for Jamaica. Certainly it's positive description of the wonders that Jamaica has to offer; the simplistic beautiful and peaceful life that is hopefully on it's return certainly captures what Jamaicans have always loved about the island, as well as the factors that visitors for generations have sought out the island as a vacation destination spot. A video for this song is in the planning and will be shot and aired in Jamaica by the beginning of 2008.
The song itself is being received well by a variety of DJs worldwide. Furthermore: Mr. Easy was one of the few artists called back to stage for an encore at the Jah Cure Festival in Jamaica.
Mr Easy's song "Have you Ever" from Stephen McGregor's current Beehive Riddim is also equally powerful. Recorded and presently released in Jamaica for the juggling efforts, this song has a broader appeal and DJs are starting to respond.
Other new songs by Mr. Easy include "Extra Ride" on the Revenge Riddim from producer Mario C and "Time Again" on the Peppagrain Riddim by Mario Lawrence's Open Ear Music.
Checkout some live footage: Mr. Easy and the Active Dancers were captured on video doing the dance for his hit "Tek Weh We Self" at the 2007 Irie Jamboree Festival.
