Grammy nominated Rihanna and fellow young artist Sean Kingston are the only Caribbean acts to be featured in the top ten most popular trends among young Americans.
In a survey conducted by Nielsen Rihanna's "Umbrella" was among the 10 Most Played Songs while Kingston's "Beautiful Girls" was among the top ten downloaded ring tones.
"Umbrella" was played 328,000 times, garnering it the eighth spot in the top ten.
T-Pain's "Buy You A Drank" was at number one in both the 10 Most Played Song's as well as the top ten downloaded songs.
Meantime, Kingston has collaborated with the Intel Corporation on his new track "Gotta Move Faster."
Both the track and its subsequent video which pertain to his mobile life (on tour, shooting videos, hanging with friends etc.) feature subtle references to Intel; showing how he loves using the best technology around to stay connected.
Intel is donating proceeds from the venture to the Intel Computer Clubhouse Network, an after school community based technology learning program that enables youth in underprivileged communities to acquire tools necessary for personal and professional development.
