Bow Wow's camp is updating its earlier explanation of his sudden hospitalization on Thursday following a concert in Cincinnati.
His record label had originally released a statement saying his health breakdown was caused by "stress and exhaustion" related to his current tour with Chris Brown and press tour to promote "Face Off," his new album with Omarion.
However, a rep on Monday clarified in a statement: "Symptoms that were originally thought to be due to stress and exhaustion are actually the result of an infection of Bow Wow's appendix."
Bow Wow is expected to rejoin his spot on Chris Brown's "Exclusive Holiday Tour" soon, the rep said.
In the meantime, Bow Wow and Omarion are giving fans a chance to win an all-inclusive, romantic get-a-away courtesy of Columbia Records/Sony BMG.
Contestants will be asked to make a CREATIVE 30 second video of themselves explaining why they would make the perfect "Wifey" for Bow Wow and/or Omarion. After they submitted their videos, Bow Wow and Omarion will choose two winners. The grand prize winners will win a dinner date with Bow Wow and Omarion, and an autographed copy of "Face Off."
