Rhythm duo Sly and Robbie were nominated for their anniversary album.
Sly Dunbar said he appreciated the fact that the album had been nominated for a Grammy especially since it was an album with a lot of instrumental tracks.
"It was an anniversary album and we used a lot of young singers such as Vegas, Diana King and Cherine, and the rest of it was instrumentals. It feels great to be recognized, you never know what will happen, that's why you just make the music, because reggae is still growing and you just never know," Sly told wdkx.com
Sly has previously won the Reggae grammy, first in 1983 with Black Uhuru and in 1997 with the 'Friends' album.
