According to a document, Linda Marie Bollea (Linda's married name) filed for divorce on Tuesday, November 20 against Terry Gene Bollea (Hulk Hogan's legal name).
The document does not state the reason for the divorce. The news first appeared on WTVT in Tampa Bay, Fla.
By now you know that last August, their son Nick Hogan crashed his Supra, and his passenger/good friend remains in a vegetative state. Prosecutors have filed reckless driving charges against Nick.
According to sources, Hulk Hogan didn't learn of his impending divorce from Linda -- but rather from a reporter in Florida. As first reported, Linda filed the divorce papers on Tuesday.
When a newspaper reporter called Hulk and asked for a comment, he said "Thank you for the great information," and hung up. The Hulkster called the paper back five minutes later and said, "I'm kind of shocked ... You caught me off-guard. Holy smokes. Wow, you just knocked the bottom out of me."
The Associated Press reports that Linda has been in California without Hulk for the past 3 weeks.
