Jay-Z Concert On The Internet

The star-studded Jay-Z concert at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom Tuesday night to promote his new album "American Gangster" will be made available for viewing on Tuesday (Nov. 20) at 2 p.m. EST/11 a.m. PST at www.music.msn.com/jayz.

The concert, one of six sold-out shows to support the new project, will be shown via Control Room and MSN featuring a back-stage interview with the rapper and surprise guests - including Diddy, Lil Wayne, and Rock Boyz.

"We at MSN are excited to bring Jay-Z's sold-out American Gangster concert online to those who couldn?t get their hands on tickets," said Rob Bennett, general manager, entertainment, video and sports, MSN. "We work to bring the most entertaining content to our 465 million monthly users, and, as one of the most entertaining performers of our time, Jay-Z is taking our list of MSN Music in Concert artists to another level."

Also in the building Tuesday night were Jay-Z's girlfriend Beyonce, Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James, Chamillionaire and DJ Clue. Toward the end of the show, Jay-Z reminded the crowd that his album's No. 1 debut ties him with Elvis for the most career No. 1 albums behind only the Beatles.

"Without a number one record, I'm the number-one man," he began rapping. " ... I'm so cool, I'm my number-one fan/ ... Now I'm standing on Elvis' blue suede shoes, 'cause I'm number one again."
